We ship products into Gippsland on trucks that our people and industries rely upon ranging from building materials to plant and equipment to supply our power and manufacturing industries as well as shipping raw materials and manufactured products out of the region for downstream processing and end customer use locally interstate and overseas.
Our industry provides a vital service to our region supporting its lifestyle and enabling an ongoing income base for our own employees, the customer base we service and the wider community.
The freight task is an essential one in which our small business makes a significant contribution with 85% of our income sourced from outside the region and over 80% of our turnover reinvested in the local community through employee wages and support of local suppliers.
